Tweetmeme is a service which aggregates all the popular links on twitter to determine which links are popular. Tweetmeme is able to categorize these links into categories and subcategories, making it easy to filter out the noise to find what your interested in.
Tweetmeme provide a button that you can add to your website or blog to enable you to share new content and tweet about it. The button provides a fully integrated URL shortener and the story or pages title. Each link which is posted on twitter adds one link to the link count on that story.
Features
- NEW - You can now see the tweet stats for a configurable number of posts

Great news!
Thank you Lee!
I'm going to try it out on 1 of our blogs & then if it goes OK, I'll put it on the others!
While I'm here - Where do I get the Subscribe to Comments Via Email button? Also does it work on 3.2?
Hey! Sounds cool!
Where did this modified toolbar come from?
Sheryl
Let me know how it goes. The subscribe to comments by email is a plugin. You can check it out here:
http://forums.b2evolution.net/viewtopic.php?t=18737
Not tested it on 3.2 though.
Hi Sebastián
Which toolbar do you mean?
L
Above the comment form: del, str, em, quote... It's similar to Quicktags but not the same.
Sebastián
Ah, that would be the comment tags plugin by EdB:

Another great pluggin from B2, You don't know how much this quality stuff excites me. I read about the next script release and that should excite everyone.
Thanks for all your time and effort to make B2Evolution the best!

Hi Brad

Thanks for the comment. It is always very welcome when people drop by with comments like that
Lee
Hey Lee,
We got your Tweetmeme to work just fine on all our 3.2 blogs. I may have to move it (from the bottom) or it hangs out of my post on a multi post view. It is fine when viewed as a single post. I will write a post on my blog about this super plug in (Tweetmeme) here in a few days!
I tried the Subscribe to comments plug in & had a few problems that I will have to think about.
I have EdB's Snap Post comment plug in installed & it has made it through the updates so far! I had thought it may have caused a problem with the Submit but, I don't think so after looking at the error.
Thanks for the Twitter Plug in!
ps. I live in Las Vegas & we don't see grass, could you change your antispam test to something easier?
Thanks, Lee!
Sheryl
Great that you got it working. It does come with its own css file so you can tweak the positioning of the badge on your skin of you prefer it at the bottom. I look forward to your blog post. That would be great. Let me know when you have written it so I can promote it for you.
I will change my antispam to something else
Hi Lee,
is tweetmeme acting up a bit lately?
I'm having trouble with my tweets and with retweeting.
Cheers,
Nicole
When I click on tweet, it opens up a pop up window to connect to twitter and when I click on "yes" for connecting it says "page not available".
It does this since this morning, but was acting strange since a few days (for example, when tweeted once, I couldn't retweet from blog).
Sorry for the trouble...
Hi Nicole
It looks like tweetmeme are making a few changes to the retweet button:
http://blog.tweetmeme.com/2009/10/13/the-tweetmeme-button-gets-an-update/
As far as their blog says these changes are not live yet but this is obviously not the case. I was hoping they would make this backwards compatible so no changes needed to be made to all the tweetmeme plugins so will have to see when they make the announcement it is live.
Lee
Thanks, Lee.
Couldn't find anything on there when I checked, so thanks for the update.
I'll just use the "share this" until then and hope they fix it soon
Have a great day (evening),
Nicole
I think this plugin stopped working today.
Hi Nelson
Thanks for your comment. I have answer your comment over on the b2evo forums so probably easier to chat over there.
Cheers
Lee
great plugin.
Is it possible to enable the plugin on a per blog basis (when hosting mutiple blogs)?
Is it possible to specify a different twitter account for each blog?
thanks
Alain
Hi Alain
Sorry for the delay in responding. I developed the plugin before the b2evo version 3 per blog settings were available so at the moment I'm afraid you can't.
It is a great idea though so I will add it to the todo list.
L
I use b2evo with a_no_skin I have installed and seem to have everything set as described. the plugin is simply not showing. Do I have to add code directly to the a_no_skin.php file, if so what do I put.
Hi @smf
Have you tried clearing the pre-rendered cache to see if they appear?
Cheers
L
yes I did - what file should the install process updated to call for the the plug-in. I don't see in my code where it was added. checked the custom (which is what is selected in the backoffice, there isn't a no skin option) and no change there as well.
the blog is located at www.smfdesignsolutions.com/blog/index.php
@smf - Not sure I understand. The install for the Tweetmeme plugin doesn't update any files. When you say you checked custom, what do you mean?
The tweetmeme plugin is a renderer plugin so you have to make sure it is enabled for each post. Go to the edit screen for one of your posts and while on the 'Expert' tab look for the section on the right called 'Text Renderers'. In there you should see a tick box for Tweetmeme. Make sure it is ticked and preview the post to see if it appears.
Lee
ah, that did it. new to b2 so still feeling around all the features, I thought it would update the skin. thanks for your help. If you don't mind me asking one more questions... how did you add the antispam test to the comments?
Thanks for this great plugin. Would you also make a facebook plugin?
Hi Weiyan
Yes, I have a few plugins that I am looking at developing once I can fine a few spare minutes. Facebook, the official twitter tweet buttons, google buzz buttons.
I will post on the blog when they are available so check back or follow me on twitter:
