This is a port of the Frugal Wordpress Theme which is a crisp, clean and simple design. I have stayed true to as much of the original design as I could while obviously including things for the unique features of b2evolution like multiple blogs etc.
This skin is now comes in two versions - the existing b2evolution 2.4.x version that does not support the new features in the 3.x series like intro posts etc and the new b2evolution 3.x version that does support intro posts etc.
Skin settings are also now used to allow you to turn off post metadata and choose whether to display the b2evolution logo (the link back in the footer is always maintained)
Download the 2.4.x version of the Frugal skin or the 3.x version of the Frugal skin, upload it to your skins folder and install it via the Global Settings - Skins tab. Please feel free to post a comment here with any questions.

I love it - thanks

I used the lightbox plugin from here:
http://manual.b2evolution.net/Plugins/lightbox_plugin
Which I think points to a download from the evocms-plugins. It seems to work really well
Great, /me likes
I really liked the bad behavior plugin but I do need to look into it a little bit more to get a better understanding of what it is doing. Need to read the bad behavior web site. Thanks for the plugin - great addition to the collection.
p.s. Is the subscribe to comments by email a new b2evo feature or a plugin? nice.

I am not sure I understand your question. Could you elaborate a little for me?
Lee
I'm trying to set up a blog for a local poetry society and writing group, and we have a lot of poetry, prompts, photos, and articles, and it would be nice to separated in tabs/pages like you have done here.
Hope that was at least a little clearer, and thanks again for you help.
Blog settings -> Advanced
for the blog you want to be the aggregate and look for the section called 'Blogs to aggregate:'. In there you need to put the ids of the blogs you wish to aggregate (including its own id if you want to display its own posts as well).
Does all that make sense ?
Lee
Thanks, that makes perfect sense and I got it all to work properly. Is there any way to easily make links to each separate blog, like you have here, so that they match the look of "contact"?
Thanks again,
-Cari
All I did to make the links to the blogs look like the 'Contact' link is to add the public blog list widget to the 'Menu' container. Try that and see if it works
Lee
Thanks, worked perfectly. I didn't know you could do that, and I don't think I would have thought to try.
Thanks again,
-Cari

Main page is fine, but clicking on a post to go to the page for that particular post (http://nickrichards.net/index.php/teambox-facebook-for-project-teams), nothing below the top banner includes the background.
Oddly enough, I see the same thing in the first 1-2 seconds of browsing to your blog, then the background appears.
Other themes don't have the issue, and I tried reloading the frugal files.
Using b2evo 4.0.3.... Do you support 4.x?
Any ideas what's causing this?
Thanks for commenting. This is a problem with the skin not supporting evo 4.x. You can see the problem at the bottom of your single post page:
Fatal error: Class 'CommentList' not found in /skins/frugal/_item_feedback.inc.php on line 156
The quick way to get this working is to delete the above file so b2evo uses the default one. I have just tested this on a local install of the latest release and it seems to work OK.
Cheers
